R_331652 Data Quality Lead
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Innovation and Data Organisation team at Marsh. This role will be based in London. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The Data Quality Lead position is part the Innovation and Data Organisation (IDO) team serving the Business and Client Services in Marsh. The successful candidate will establish and execute on processes, structure, and organisation for delivery of data quality capabilities with a broad group of stakeholders. Key to the candidate’s success will be their ability to set up data quality frameworks and decision-making structures, manage stakeholders, and communication with a broad range of constituents.
The objective is to build a team of top data management professionals that can sit at the intersection of business and operational users and technology developers to ensure that systems adhere to industry best practices while delivering against complex business requirements. The scope includes all data domains, data types, data structures, regions, classifications, systems and users.
We will count on you to:
Create overarching data quality strategy for Marsh Data Services – including approach, roles/responsibilities, process, and interaction with broader companyCommunicate data strategy approach and progress within various business domains (e.g., claims, policy management, fiduciary)Develop and communicate best practices for data quality throughout Marsh (e.g., approaches for enabling data quality within operational applications)Liaise with business and operations leadership to establish organisational ownership and stewardship for data quality results, data quality exceptions, and data quality reportingDrive understanding of relevant initiatives that could improve data quality within a region, application, or business domain (e.g., integration of standard reference data)Liaise with transformation office and program management constituents, create content and presentations necessary to surface MDS data quality activitiesWhat you need to have:
Understanding of insurance and brokerage industryExperience working in a data or analytics role, implementing data quality rules, processes, approaches, and reporting for a complex enterpriseProved track record of executing data management and integration projects, understanding of data transformation and management conceptsExperience in a multi-cultural and multi-site environmentAbility to think creatively (vs. by memory) to move forward on complex problemsExceptional written and verbal communication skills leveraging both traditional (e.g. Office; Teams) tools as well as software lifecycle tools (e.g. Jira)What makes you stand out?
