Leaders at this level will manage multiple enterprise-wide platforms that are functionally aligned with significant scale and impact (e.g., business intelligence and reporting tools, data movement and storage, document and content management, AI and model management etc.). **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. 1. Design, build and execute the Data and Analytics platform strategy for in-scope platforms. 2. Responsible for development and maintenance of the data platforms and tools, for safe and deliberate consumption throughout the organization. 3. Provide data platform subject matter expertise to business units and delivery teams. 4. Partner with the cyber security and infrastructure teams to implement proper security and risk related controls and frameworks across the in-scope platforms. 5. Support the implementation of data governance policies, standards, and frameworks, including data quality, data lineage and usage controls across in-scope platforms/ 6. Partner with production support teams to increase automation and monitoring, simplify data operations, increase resiliency. 7. Accountable for managing multiple platform teams comprising of globally distributed full time platform engineers, platform leads and contract resources. 8. Staying up to speed on emerging industry and technologies while bringing those new practices to Truist. **QUALIFICATIONS** Required Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, Information Systems or equivalent degree 2. At least 10 years of senior level experience in leading teams 3. Deep experience in driving enterprise data strategy, data execution, data operations, data engineering or software delivery 4. Expert problem solving skills and being able to define detailed strategies as required 5. Experience in financial services industry 6. Experience in meeting regulatory obligations and operating in a highly regulatory environment 7. Experience in building a high performing team **Preferred Qualifications:** 1. Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, Information Systems or equivalent degree 2. Experience within Enterprise Data organizations preferably within a financial institution 3.
