**Overview**
Our large banking client is seeking **two experienced Data Modelers** to join their team. The ideal candidates will have strong data analysis skills, deep understanding of data modeling concepts, and the ability to work closely with product owners to source and interpret data. This role requires hands-on experience with SQL, ETL tools, and exposure to BI technologies.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Design and develop logical and physical data models to support business requirements.
+ Perform **source-to-target mappings** and ensure accurate **data lineage** documentation.
+ Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to gather requirements and source data independently.
+ Analyze and interrogate data pipelines, understanding how they work and identifying improvements.
+ Work with ETL tools to support data integration and transformation processes.
+ Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
+ Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making.
**Required Skills**
+ **Strong SQL skills** for complex queries, mappings, and lineage tracking.
+ Experience with **ETL tools** (e.g., Informatica, Talend, DataStage, or similar).
+ Solid understanding of **pipeline development** and data flow.
+ **Banking/Financial Services background** is highly preferred.
+ Exposure to **BI tools** (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik).
+ Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
**Nice-to-Have Skills**
+ **Data Vault modeling experience** (highly desirable but not mandatory).
+ Familiarity with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure, AWS).
**Soft Skills**
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
+ Excellent communication skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
