Data Measurement & Reporting Advisor - Cigna Healthcare - Hybrid

Overview:

Cigna Healthcare’s Pharmacy Management organization is seeking a detail‑oriented and technically strong Data Measurement & Reporting Analyst (Advisor level) to support complex reporting and analytical needs across the enterprise. This role is essential in delivering accurate, timely, and actionable insights to key stakeholders, including Pharmacy Sales & Account Management, Product, Finance, Compliance, and additional internal partners.

The analyst will support ad hoc reporting, including Compliance and non‑Compliance requests involving pharmacy claims and benefits‑related data. The role also owns critical production reporting deliverables—including Performance Guarantees (PGs) reporting—and contributes to project‑based work such as new reporting solution development, process optimization, and automation of existing reports.

Responsibilities:

Reporting & Analytics:

Deliver timely and accurate ad hoc reporting in support of Compliance, operational, and strategic business needs.Analyze, interpret, and validate pharmacy claims, benefits data, and customer-level datasets.Manage, maintain, and enhance production reporting deliverables, including dashboards, operational datasets, and Performance Guarantees (PGs) reporting.Develop new reporting solutions aligned to evolving business needs.Support automation initiatives using SQL, Databricks, Power BI, and/or Alteryx.Identify and investigate data anomalies and drive root‑cause analysis.

Project & Cross‑Functional Support:

Contribute to project‑based initiatives including new reporting solutions and measurement enhancements.Collaborate with partners across Pharmacy Management to gather requirements and design solutions.Serve as a subject matter expert in pharmacy claims data and warehouse structures.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Provide clear communication and documentation of metrics, methodologies, and data definitions.Present insights tailored to various business audiences.Build strong cross‑functional partnerships.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.3–5+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, or data management.Intermediate SQL, Power BI, Excel (Intermediate) experience requiredPower Query / Power Pivot / DAX, DatabricksCCW (Pharmacy) and PHRMRDS experienceAlteryx and SAS (preferred)Strong understanding of the PBM industry.Experience with large datasets and complex data structures.Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills.
