Job Title: Billing Specialist/Data Entry Specialist
Job Description
As a Billing Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely invoicing of our services. You will monitor case reports regularly to determine when they are complete and ready for invoicing, maintain working copies for tracking follow-up dates, and ensure all necessary documentation is gathered and submitted with invoices. Your role will involve data entry into our company's software system, assembling backup documentation for transmittal to clients, and communicating with personnel in our Real Estate department to coordinate documents and resolve any questions or discrepancies. You will also respond to client inquiries and perform other functions as needed.
Responsibilities
Monitor case reports regularly to determine when they are complete and ready for invoicing.Maintain working copies of reports for tracking follow-up dates and necessary documentation.Contact proper personnel at taxing jurisdictions for information not available from websites.Perform data entry into the company's software system for the creation of invoices.Assemble necessary backup documentation for transmittal to clients with invoices.Communicate with personnel in the Real Estate department for coordination of documents and resolving questions or discrepancies.Respond to client inquiries as needed.Create mail merges using Excel, with a -level proficiency being acceptable.Perform other functions as needed.Essential Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe.Experience with invoicing, billing systems, and invoice processing.Strong organizational skills and an effective written and oral communication ability.Proficiency in handling billing systems, invoice processing, and resolving invoice issues.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Strong analytical and math skills.An outside-of-the-box, forward-thinking mindset.Ability to create mail merges within Excel.Work Environment
Training will initially be fully in-office, which could take about one month. Once up to speed, the role could transition to a hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two days remote. We are looking to update our processes and make them more efficient, so flexibility and an open-minded approach to process improvement are essential.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chesterfield, MO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
