Job Description
The Data Entry Eligibility Coordinator is responsible for client intake and determining eligibility for programs and financial assistance. The primary focus of this role is to process utility assistance applications received both by mail and in-person. This includes entering client information into multiple systems and processing applications effectively.
ResponsibilitiesProcess utility assistance mail-in and walk-in applications.Enter scanned application information into two databases using a dual monitor setup - one state database and one internal database.Input bio information, PII, income details, pay stubs, utility bill data, and household information to determine eligibility and enrollment.Complete internal documents to confirm application entry and save them to the client's electronic file.Contact clients via phone for missing or unclear information on applications.Mail final notifications to clients.Collaborate with various departments, programs, and services to ensure maximum benefits for families.Attend staff meetings and provide insights and feedback.Essential SkillsProven data entry experience, especially on a desktop.Experience using dual monitors.High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including MS Teams.Additional Skills & QualificationsPost-secondary education is a plus.Experience with dual monitors is preferred.Work Environment
This position is based in an office environment with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with limited overtime. The dress code is business casual, with jeans allowed only on Fridays.

This is a contract position based out of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
