We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying, inputting, and maintaining accurate information using data entry devices such as keyboards and scanners. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently while handling confidential information.
Key ResponsibilitiesEnter data from source documents (e.g., cancelled checks, sales reports, bills) into designated fields using keyboards or scanners.Compile, sort, and verify the accuracy of information before entry.Identify and correct data inconsistencies or report them to supervisors.Verify data by comparing it with source documents or performing double-entry checks.Maintain logs, records, and documentation of completed tasks.Ensure all information is handled with a high level of confidentiality.Required Skills & QualificationsStrong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Proficiency in documenting and recording customer or client information accurately.Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel (additional training will be provided).Ability to pass a data entry speed and accuracy test (may be required).Demonstrated experience handling confidential or personal information.Must-Have SkillsData entry experienceExcel data entry skillsHigh attention to detailAbility to maintain confidentialityComfort working with computer applicationsEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED required2–4 years of related experience preferredJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Saint Paul, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.75 - $17.75/hr.
