Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Data Engineer to join a Fortune 100 company's Supply Chain organization. This role is heavily focused on data transformation and wrangling—approximately 80% of the work—and involves working extensively with SAP S4 HANA and other supply‑chain datasets to clean, standardize, join, and model data for analytics, forecasting, and AI/ML use cases. The position requires cleaning, normalizing, and reconciling large datasets across internal systems while building unified views that support inventory-to-demand analysis, historical project performance, and BOM structures tied to project schedules. You will design and maintain GCP/BigQuery schemas as a single source of truth, develop automated ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL and Python with robust data quality checks, and conduct gap analysis to identify missing fields or inconsistencies while recommending upstream improvements. The role also includes preparing curated datasets for supply‑chain analysts and business stakeholders. Skills and Requirements -3+ years of Data Engineering experience, including: Advanced SQL, Python, Cloud data warehouses (GCP BigQuery preferred) -SAP S4 HANA – Experience with backend tables, structures, and supply‑chain data models such as SAP Table Structures: table structures (MARA, MARC, etc) and ideally Experience with SQVI (S4 HANA quick viewer). -Supply Chain Experience: Inventory management, demand planning, logistics, or related domains. -Ability to build scalable schemas, transformations, and curated datasets for analytics and AI/ML. -SAP IBP -Experience cleaning or standardizing legacy/custom application data. -Familiarity with inventory planning concepts (safety stock, SKU optimization, replenishment). -Background in top-tier supply-chain organizations. -Experience building Tableau dashboards (plus).
