Job Description Insight Global is seeking an expert-level Data Engineer with a strong background in Databricks and a designer’s mindset to lead the transformation of a monolithic platform into a modern QRM (Quantitative Risk Management) architecture. This role requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience in building scalable, cloud-native data solutions. Key Responsibilities  · Architect and design data engineering solutions leveraging Databricks and Delta Lake.  · Lead the migration from a monolithic platform to QRM, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.  · Develop and integrate APIs for seamless data exchange across systems.  · Design and implement cloud-native architectures using Microsoft Azure  · Build and orchestrate data pipelines using Airflow (Astronomer).  · Ensure best practices in data governance, security, and performance optimization. Mentor and guide engineering teams on architecture and design principles. Skills and Requirements · Expert in Databricks (including Spark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog). · Architect-level experience in data engineering and backend systems. · Strong proficiency in Python for data pipelines and automation. · Hands-on experience with API design and integration. · Deep understanding of cloud platforms (Azure preferred). · Experience with Airflow (Astronomer) for orchestration. · Designer mindset: ability to create elegant, scalable solutions. · 10+ years of experience in data engineering and architecture. · Experience with Machine Learning and MLflow.  · Familiarity with QRM frameworks and risk management systems.
