As a vital member of the Data Engineering department supporting cross-functional teams, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to creating personalized and valuable shopping experiences for millions of consumers. **Job Title:** Data Engineer Level 2
**Location:** Remote
**What's the Job?**
+ Design, build, and maintain scalable, efficient, and reliable data pipelines supporting data ingestion, transformation, and integration from diverse sources.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative data solutions and ensure data quality and security.
+ Leverage technologies such as Kafka, Databricks, and cloud-based platforms to modernize data assets and support real-time streaming data.
+ Implement automated testing frameworks to uphold high standards of data reliability and compliance.
+ Mentor team members on best practices in data principles, patterns, and processes to foster continuous improvement and technical excellence.
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related STEM field.
+ 3+ years of professional experience in data development, working within cross-functional teams on complex projects.
+ Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL technologies, along with experience building and maintaining data pipelines and workflows.
+ Hands-on experience with Python, Pyspark, and Databricks.
+ Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and version control systems such as Git.
