The AI and Data Operations team leverages the power of data, analytics, robotics, science and cognitive technologies to uncover hidden relationships from vast troves of data, generate insights, and inform decision-making. Together with the Strategy practice, our Strategy & Analytics portfolio helps clients transform their business by architecting enterprise programs and differentiated strategies to win in their chosen markets.

Work you’ll do

* Be a Pioneer: Collaborate in the development and deployment of a groundbreaking analytics platform that will set a new standard in the national security sector.
* Unleash Insights: Dive into massive spatiotemporal datasets, applying advanced machine learning techniques (clustering, forecasting, NLP, graph analytics, and more) to extract actionable intelligence that drives mission-critical decisions.
* Lead the Charge: Provide technical mentorship and guidance, championing best practices in data science and the innovative application of quantitative methods to overcome complex challenges.

As a Data Engineer, you will be required to interpret business needs and select appropriate technologies and have experience in implementing data governance of shared and/or master sets of data. You will work with key business stakeholders, IT experts, and subject-matter experts to plan and deliver optimal data solutions. You will create, maintain, and optimize data pipelines as workloads move from development to production for specific use cases to ensure seamless data flow for the use case. You will perform technical and non-technical analyses on project issues and help to ensure technical implementations follow quality assurance metrics. You will analyze data and systems architecture, create designs, and implement information systems solutions.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor’s degree required 2+ years of Data engineering 1+ year of Analysis experience Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future Active TS/SCI with poly security clearance required for this end client Ability to work 100% onsite in Chantilly, VAAbility to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.  The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $107,925 to $179,875. 

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
