Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, is seeking a **Data Compliance and Operational Risk Specialist** to join their team. As a **Data Compliance and Operational Risk Specialist** , you will be part of the Risk Management department supporting the Enterprise Data Testing program. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title: Data Compliance and Operational Risk Specialist** **Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid - 3 days Onsite)** **Position type: 3+ months C2H/Contract to hire with my direct client** **What's the Job?** + Support the execution of Compliance and Operational Risk Management program elements, ensuring timely delivery to required standards. + Contribute to risk assessment of data elements to prioritize and schedule data testing effectively. + Collaborate with members of Enterprise Independent Testing and first line unit teams to facilitate data testing and observation management. + Analyze data and translate test results into actionable recommendations, communicating findings clearly to diverse audiences. + Manage relationships with business partners across Data Management and Line of Business teams, engaging in real-time discussions on identified risks and testing observations. **What's Needed?** + 8+ years of experience in a related field, particularly in data management or regulatory reporting. + Strong knowledge of Monitoring, Surveillance, and Testing, including transaction and conformance testing. + Experience in Risk Management and audit processes, with the ability to interpret laws, rules, and regulations. + Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent priorities. + Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex test results in a clear and concise manner. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity for full-time conversion based on performance. + Engagement in a dynamic and collaborative work environment. + Professional growth and development opportunities. + Involvement in critical risk oversight projects. + Work with a diverse team of professionals committed to excellence.
