Our client, a leader in the technology infrastructure and data center sector, is seeking a Data Center Technician to join their team. As a Data Center Technician, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the technical support team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Data Center Technician
**Location:** Boardman, OR
**Pay Range:** $26.50/HR
**What's the Job?**
+ Support and troubleshoot hardware infrastructure issues within the data center environment
+ Share knowledge and assist team members in resolving technical problems
+ Work autonomously to identify and resolve server-related issues
+ Maintain detailed documentation of hardware and network configurations
+ Participate in scheduled work shifts, including holidays, as required
**What's Needed?**
+ Knowledge of hardware components inside servers and computers
+ Effective communication skills to interact with team members and support staff
+ Networking experience and familiarity with basic system administration
+ Basic to intermediate IT experience, including troubleshooting skills
+ Preferred: CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent experience
