· Extensive knowledge of operations, maintenance and repair procedures of mechanical and plant equipment including UPS, Emergency Generator, pumps, fans, electrical controls, pressure-reducing valves, compressors, chemical testing and treatment, recordings, air filtration, humidification.

· Provides backup and support for Lead Engineer in interpreting mechanical specifications and operational manuals.

· Keeps abreast of technological advancements and developments through continuing education programs and trade journals.

· Support PM/RCM/PdM program.

· Participate with technical skill up-grade program as required.

· Provide proper building and equipment inspections, repairs & PM tasks, utilize automatic recording devices correctly, and record such on a regular basis according to protocols in place.

· Works with the Facility Manager to budget for major capital purchases of physical plant equipment and provide proper specifications for such expenditures.

· Provides support to Facility Manager to oversee contractors providing services on site.

· Attends management meetings with other department heads as needed.

· Provides support before, during and after a disaster event.

· Maintain positive customer relations

· Ensures compliance with all company / customer regulations, policies, and procedures

· Achieve performance expectations set forth as part of performance appraisal.

· Communications with all team members to support the development of short and long range planning in support of the company’s goals and objectives

· Maintain personal tools required for your job to include an up to date documented personal tool lists. Required tool listing to be supplied as part of employment.

· Meet physical requirements of the job. Physical requirements of the job will be provided to you prior to employment.

· Must be able to work in a team oriented and safety conscious environment, adhering to C&W Services Safety Program criteria.

· Accurate and timely administrative duties to include, but not limited to, time accounting and work order completion.

· Must maintain positive customer and employee relations

REQUIREMENTS: (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Education and/or Experience)

· Five or more years of experience as a maintenance technician.

· Possess necessary certifications and licensing.

· Good organizational skills to deal with a multifaceted job

· Must be able to work all shifts including weekends and holidays to support 24/7/365 data center operations

· Requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and stretching. Requires frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

· Requires prolonged sitting and the ability to perform long periods of overhead work.

· Requires manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination for data input.

· Requires working in areas which are not ventilated or air-conditioned.

· Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $22.10 - $26.00
