We are currently seeking a skilled and qualified Electrician to join our team on a permanent basis.
This role will be based at a static commercial site and will involve providing comprehensive maintenance, repair, and electrical support.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent fault-finding abilities, hold all relevant qualifications, and be capable of working independently to ensure the safety, reliability, and compliance of electrical systems.
**Key responsibilities include:**
Upgrading lighting systems to LED throughout the site, efficiently diagnosing and resolving electrical faults, carrying out necessary repairs and small-scale installations, performing electrical maintenance, inspections, and repairs on commercial systems, and ensuring adherence to all current electrical regulations and safety standards.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and responding to reactive maintenance requirements, maintaining accurate records of all work performed and any remedial actions taken, and collaborating effectively with site management and other trades to ensure seamless operations.
+ The ideal candidate will possess recognized electrical qualifications, such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent, along with a City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification.
+ Proven experience working as an electrician within a commercial environment is essential, along with strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
+ A solid understanding of health and safety practices is also required, alongside the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and organizational skills are also key.
