Data Center Coordinator Job ID 227611 Posted 10-Jul-2025 Service line GWS Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Administrative, Data Centers, Facilities Management, Health and Safety/Environment Location(s) Hamar - Hedmark - Norway As a CBRE Data Center Coordinator you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of data center operations. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining service plans, supporting change management, and coordinating vendor and infrastructure readiness. You will drive process improvements, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and provide accurate documentation and reporting to support operational decisions. The role also involves forecasting resource needs, aligning capacity with demand, and maintaining clear communication with internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure transparency and accountability throughout the planning process. **Your Responsibilities** + **Service Planning & Coordination:** Develop and maintain detailed progress plans for service start-up and ongoing operations, including vendor transitions and infrastructure readiness  + **Change Management Support:** Assist in planning and coordinating change activities, ensuring alignment with operational schedules and minimizing service disruption. Facilitate risk assessments and impact analyses for proposed changes. + **Documentation & Reporting** : Compile operational and statistical data to support planning decisions and management reporting. Maintain accurate records of service plans, change logs, and performance metrics. Create dashboards and visual summaries for leadership reviews. + **Process Improvement:** Identify and escalate planning inefficiencies and support the implementation of optimized workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize procedures and introduce automation where feasible. + **Health & Safety Oversight:** Ensure all activities are planned and executed in compliance with health and safety standards, including risk assessments and emergency preparedness. Promote a proactive safety culture through internal and external systems. + **Stakeholder Communication:** Facilitate clear and consistent communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of project goals, timelines, and expectations. Ensure planning activities comply with both client and company policies. + **Capacity & Resource Planning:** Forecast resource needs based on service demand and operational trends. Coordinate staffing, equipment, and vendor availability to meet service delivery targets. **Your Qualifications** + Logistics degree with experience in data center operations or planning. Lack of a diploma can be offset by substantial and relevant work experience + Strong organizational and communication skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). + Familiarity with Method of Procedure (MOP) documentation and risk assessment practices. + Basic understanding of data center infrastructure components (e.g., cooling, power, fire suppression)  + Good communication in both English and Norwegian both verbal and written CBRE, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer (Women/Minorities/Persons with Disabilities/US Veterans)
