Data Center Auditor, DCC Communities
Description We're looking for a Data Center Audit Technician to join our growing team within infrastructure operations. Scope of work includes physically walking data center floor space to visually identify, capture and record data collected. Reporting audit findings through ticketing systems with clear and concise communication to capacity planning. Technicians will provide information gathering of our data center floor space to validate system information or rectify system inaccuracies where present. All candidates should exhibit the following: · Ability to exhibit good written and oral communication skill. Physical Requirements All physical requirements are expected with reasonable accommodations · Regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds unassisted; and participate in group lifts for 36 pounds or more · Must be able to lift loads of up to 49 pounds and carry them for short distances · Walk job sites in uneven terrain. · Willing and able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach · Continuously climb and descend stairs safely (applies to sites with stairs) · Regularly walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. · Coordinate body movements when using tools or equipment · Reach and stretch to position equipment and fixtures while maintaining balance · Perform physical tasks all day without becoming overly tired · Push or pull heavy objects into position · Work in a noisy environment \#DCPD_GND Key job responsibilities - Work with various partner teams to resolve identified issues. - Coordinate efforts with peers in other regions - Opportunities to communicate with various levels of leadership - Maintain data accuracy between data center rack positions and logical tooling Basic Qualifications - 1+ years of experience supporting Windows, Mac and/or Linux Operating systems in a corporate setting, or relevant education/certifications - High school or equivalent diploma - 6 + months of relevant IT experience - Must be at least 18 years old - High School diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications - Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
