**POSITION SUMMARY**
This role will serve as a senior individual contributor responsible for designing, building, and executing a continuous monitoring program within the Provider Experience & Operations (PX&O) function. This role will leverage data, analytics, and automation to proactively identify emerging risk considerations, with an initial focus on monitoring SOX and SOC controls. The individual will partner closely with the Operational Health Risk and Controls team and operations leadership to design, detect and address potential control breakdowns before they escalate. The continuous monitoring program will also serve as a key monitoring control across select business process controls, enabling timely insights and risk mitigation across PX&O operations.
**Candidates who reside within 50 miles of the following locations will be required to perform onsite 3 days per week: Bloomfield, CT; Chattanooga, TN; Denver, CO; St. Louis, MO; and Scottsdale, AZ.**
The Data & Automation Continuous Controls Monitoring Lead will:
+ Design and implement a continuous monitoring framework that leverages data analytics and automation to identify control gaps and emerging risks.
+ Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical models to monitor SOX and SOC controls across provider data management and claim operations.
+ Collaborate with Senior IC roles and operational teams to interpret monitoring results, investigate anomalies, and recommend corrective actions.
+ Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and thresholds to trigger alerts for potential control breakdowns.
+ Support audit readiness by providing data-driven insights and evidence of control effectiveness.
+ Continuously enhance monitoring routines to expand coverage across additional business process controls and risk domains.
+ Promote a data-driven culture of risk awareness and proactive issue resolution across PX&O.
**Primary Components**
**Continuous Monitoring** **:** **Lead the development and execution of a continuous monitoring program that uses data, analytics, and automation to proactively identify control issues and emerging risks. Ensure monitoring routines are aligned with SOX/SOC requirements and integrated into business-as-usual processes.**
**Collaboration** **:** **Partner with the Operational Health Risk and Controls team, provider and claims operational teams, audit, and technology stakeholders to ensure monitoring insights are actionable and drive timely remediation. Foster a collaborative environment that supports shared accountability for control effectiveness.**
**Communication** **:** **Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences. Provide regular updates on monitoring program performance, risk trends, and control health to key stakeholders** **.**
**Key Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Risk Management, or related field preferred
+ 6+ years of experience in data analytics, risk management, or audit functions, with a focus on control monitoring and automation.
+ Experience designing and implementing continuous monitoring programs in complex operational environments.
+ Strong understanding of SOX and SOC control frameworks and audit requirements.
+ Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and analytics platforms (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
+ Proficiency in Alteryx for data preparation, transformation, and automation.
+ Experience in RPA bot design and monitoring to support control automation.
+ Experience in healthcare operations or payer-provider environments preferred.
+ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
+ Demonstrated ability to translate data insights into risk mitigation strategies.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 112,800 - 188,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
