Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Data Architect to join their team. As a Data Architect, you will be part of the Data Strategy Department supporting Data Architecture and Data Modeling initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Data Architect/Engineer (Charlotte)
**Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid -3 days onsite per week)**
**Position type: 12+ months with high possibility of extension/Conversion**

**What's the Job?**
+ Design and maintain data architecture for operational data stores, data warehouses, and data marts on cloud environments
+ Develop data access layer specifications and communicate design implementations to technical teams
+ Lead projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative data solutions
+ Translate business strategies into effective data architecture plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
+ Guide the adoption of governance principles to ensure data quality and compliance
**What's Needed?**
+ Experience in data modeling and architecture design
+ Proficiency with Oracle PL/SQL
+ Prior experience working with merchant services or financial data systems (preferred)
+ Strong understanding of cloud-based data solutions
+ Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to stakeholders
