**Job Summary**
This role is responsible for executing data architectural solutions for complex initiatives spanning multiple Lines of Business and control functions. The Senior Data Architect will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure adherence to enterprise data management policies and standards, design secure data architecture solutions, and support architecture design reviews. A strong focus on **cybersecurity** and **ServiceNow implementation** is required.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience in **data management, governance, and ServiceNow integrations** , combined with proven hands-on expertise in **cybersecurity, cloud platforms, and enterprise data architecture** .
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Design and implement **secure, scalable data architectures** to support enterprise initiatives.
+ Lead and execute **ServiceNow implementations and integrations** , including CMDB, ITSM, ITOM, and reporting workflows.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure **data-centric security measures align with business needs and compliance requirements** .
+ Facilitate **architecture discussions** , review solutions, and provide guidance on **data governance, lineage, quality, and standards** .
+ Educate data management teams on enterprise **data architectural principles** and cybersecurity best practices.
+ Support Agile delivery processes and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
**Required Skills**
+ **ServiceNow implementation experience** , including CMDB, ITSM, ITOM, data reporting, and integrations.
+ **Hands-on experience with data architecture design** in large, complex environments.
+ **Cloud platform expertise:** AWS, Azure, GCP.
+ **Cybersecurity knowledge:** data protection, monitoring, logging, compliance, zero trust architecture.
+ Strong **data modeling, relational and dimensional design** , and metadata management skills.
+ Hands-on experience with **ETL/ELT and API-based data provisioning** .
+ Proficiency with **SQL, Python** , and data analysis/profiling tools.
+ Familiarity with **big data platforms and database systems:** Hadoop, Spark, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, Teradata.
+ Strong understanding of **data governance, critical data elements, lineage, quality, and remediation** .
+ Excellent **communication and presentation skills** , including ability to convey complex ideas to large groups.
**Desired Skills**
+ Experience with **next-generation tools** and emerging technologies (AI/ML, RPA).
+ Knowledge of **metadata/lineage tools, data catalogs, and data contracts** .
+ Familiarity with **operational data governance, privacy, and regulatory compliance** .
+ Experience integrating **enterprise data pipelines with ServiceNow** and supporting data-driven IT processes.
+ Industry certifications (CDMP, TOGAF, cloud certifications) a plus.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in **Computer Science, IT, or related field** , or equivalent experience.
+ 5+ years experience as a **Data Architect** or similar role with hands-on implementation experience.
+ 5–10+ years of experience in **relational and dimensional data modeling** , metadata management, and data integration.
+ Ability to **independently architect solutions, lead code/design reviews, and ensure quality** throughout projects.
