Job DescriptionPosition Summary: The Data Analytics Specialist reports to the Financial Reporting Director. This role focuses on the development of operational dashboards and scorecards to enable leaders to track goals and make informed decisions and the creation of tools to streamline operational data collection processes.
The Data Analytics Specialist must reside within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA as it will involve working 2-3 days onsite per week.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This role will entail pulling and compiling data from multiple areas to provide accurate tracking for target setting. Involves designing dashboards to provide benchmarks to leadership in order to establish best practices and develop methodologies.
Create and maintain a Balanced Scorecard for key metrics to provide operational leaders an at-a-glance view of progressCreate and maintain dashboardBuild data modeling tools to enable operational leaders to set Operational targetsReview large amounts of testing data from each laboratory and aggregate properly according to business unit, cluster or regionLoad data into Power BI, present visuals and seek feedback from leadershipTechnical Documentation to enable the replication of metrics or visualsWork with leadership and lab personnel in understanding dashboards and toolsAdditional Duties
Data aggregation and modelingAcquire and compile structured and unstructured data from multiple sources; verify its quality, accuracy and reasonablenessAnalysis of key metricsCreation of additional dashboards (as needed) to share KPIs and meaningful informationWorking cross functionally to collect information and organize it into action-oriented and understandable reports that prepare and deliver expert level visualizations and internal presentations that translate analytic insights into tangible, actionable solutionsSupport in amplifying messaging throughout the organization via message boards and newslettersCoordinate with subject matter experts to seek best practicesParticipation in special projects and perform additional duties as neededQualificationsBasic Minimum Qualifications (BMQ):
Education: Bachelors degree in Data Analytics or a related field. Masters degree preferred
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or analytics through other, similar roles, internships, or significant academic projects
Skills and Abilities:
Mastery of data visualization and analytics tools like Power BI and ExcelExperience in predictive analytics and developing dashboardsProficient in data storytellingQuickly learn new processes, policies, and technologiesAbility to create attractive PowerPoint slidesAdditional InformationRequirements:
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipProfessional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in EnglishPosition is full-time Monday - Friday. Salary range: $60,000 - $65,000/yr.
Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes, the actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.
