2026 Summer Intern Location: This internship role is scheduled to be flexible. Please be prepared to spend part of your time working remotely and part of your time working at the following address: 4460 Hacienda Dr., Bldg. A, Pleasanton, 94588. Department Details: Our team is responsible for managing and optimizing enterprise BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, and Business Objects to enable self-service analytics and reporting across the organization. We provide solution consulting, onboarding, and technical support for analytics tenants, ensuring adherence to best practices in design, performance, and security. Core functions include platform lifecycle management, environment upgrades, and rationalization initiatives aimed at reducing technical debt and consolidating tools for cost efficiency. Additionally, our team fosters user engagement through communities of practice, training resources, and governance frameworks to drive consistent, scalable analytics solutions. Internship Projects: Aggregation of content from D&A product stewards to create reporting solution to track KPIs for technical debt consolidation in a Power BI custom dashboard. High level solution consulting for D&A customers helping to assist in -How Do I- type of questions for Data Analytics groups focusing primarily on Power BI & Tableau Directing Data Analytics end users to training resources, learning articles and submitting service request tickets Working closely with the D&A BI reporting team will design & document key processes such as triage of Service Now requests, intake of D&A customers and onboarding of tenants Facilitation of Communities of Practice for Tableau and Power BI Developers Actively engaging BI platform end users through surveys, customer calls and use case interviews Creating, updating, and managing content in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Confluence. Target Majors: Business Administration; Computer Science; Data Science Target Skillset: Knowledge of Data & Analytics Products & Concepts - specifically Power BI or Tableau Possess strong customer service skills Data modeling or data lifecycle knowledge Ability to work independently given a specific set of deliverables Job Summary: Lay the groundwork for a dynamic future with an industry leader.
