**Job Title:** Data Analyst **Location:** Spring TX. **Duration:** 12 Months Contract **Pay: $** 50 - $55/hr. on W2 **Job Description** We are seeking a highly skilled **Data Analyst** to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for **importing, cleansing, validating, and analyzing data** to identify trends, generate insights, and support decision-making. You will also consolidate and present findings in the form of **charts, graphs, and tables** , while ensuring data quality and accuracy. This position requires a self-directed professional who can work independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate is an expert in their field, with the ability to transform raw data into actionable insights and improve overall data processes. **Key Responsibilities** + Import, cleanse, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources. + Consolidate and present findings through **reports, dashboards, charts, and visualizations** . + Identify patterns, trends, and insights to support business decisions. + Ensure **data accuracy, quality, and consistency** across reporting deliverables. + Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver meaningful analysis. + Apply domain expertise in **Upstream Drilling & Completions datasets** to provide actionable insights. **Required Skills and Qualifications** + Strong **analytical, written, and verbal communication skills** . + Proven experience in **report generation and data analysis** . + Proficient in **MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)** . + Proficiency in **SQL** and experience with **Spotfire or Power BI** . + Hands-on experience with **Databricks, Python, and data engineering** (preferred). + Experience working with **Upstream Drilling & Completions datasets** (required). + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. + Professional certification in **data analytics** (preferred, but not required).
