MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Data Analyst Associate working on the Practice Improvement and Quality Measures Management Support Task Order, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Center for Clinical Standards and Quality, Quality Measurement and Value-Based Incentives Group. You will play a crucial role in the customer’s mission within the Quality Payment Program.
Supports Key Data Analyst with responsibilities impacting the overall mission
Reviews health care data technical specifications (i.e., claims, QRDA, HL7, etc.) for compliance from a technical and clinical perspective
Provides technical assistance regarding potential technical challenges in implementation of clinical quality measures
Collaborates with PIQMMS Team members, as well as CMS customer to achieve the mission
Provides support on measure content and analytical issues as it pertains to the national quality initiative
Verifies and analyzes report data when appropriate
Utilize specific tools, skills or technologies in the role
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Bachelor’s degree from four year college or university; or anticipated graduate of a Bachelor's program; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceAbility to analyze and document clinical and technical standardsKnowledge and use of standard coding systems (CPT, SNOMED, RxNorm, ICD-10, etc.)SQL, Python and R, and Data Visualization ToolsProficiency in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and PDF documentsExcellent problem-solving skills including providing solutions and/or options to potential issuesExcellent verbal and written communication skills including presentingAbility to read, analyze and interpret professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulationsSKILLS & ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS:
