Data Analyst
Job Description The NPI Data & Reporting Analyst will support the New Product Introduction (NPI) organization by owning data structure, reporting, and process automation across materials, CAPEX, schedules, and operational workflows. This role reduces dependency on manual Excel updates and builds scalable reporting solutions to improve visibility, decision‑making, and cross‑functional alignment. They will act as the central data steward—building the datasets, dashboards, and automation needed to bring consistency and accuracy to NPI reporting. Key Responsibilities Data Ownership & Reporting Build and maintain structured datasets for project schedules, materials, CAPEX, and milestones Develop Power BI dashboards delivering real-time insights for leadership, PMs, engineering, and finance Standardize data inputs, metrics, and reporting templates across the NPI/PMO organization Validate data for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with internal standards Systems Integration Integrate data across Microsoft Project, Excel, SharePoint, and legacy tools Convert manual workflows into automated processes using Power Automate Project & Materials Reporting Maintain project plans, action tracking, schedule consolidations, and Excel Gantt charts Manage material readiness tracking through the Power BI ecosystem Work with CAPEX data via a legacy GE EP&E tool, ensuring reconciled and accurate financial reporting Leadership Support Consolidate complex data into clear, actionable insights for leadership presentations Support monthly and quarterly business review cycles through reporting and analysis Improve reporting visibility and confidence across the organization Process & Governance Recommend improvements for data capture, workflows, and reporting tools Create documentation for standards, inputs, naming conventions, and reporting logic Outcomes & Expectations Success within 6 months includes: Standardized dataset structure across materials, project plans, and CAPEX At least one workflow automated (Power Automate or SharePoint Lists) A consolidated Power BI reporting suite visible to leadership Reduced manual effort and improved data accuracy Ownership of the NPI reporting ecosystem We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements Strong experience working with project data, PMO reporting, or NPI/engineering/manufacturing environments Excel expertise, including ability to manage complex datasets Python, Power Query, VBA, R or related for consolidation of multiple files and generation of presentation‑ready outputs Power BI experience (data modeling, visuals, refresh, reporting) Experience integrating data from Microsoft Project, Excel, SharePoint 2+ years of experience as a data analyst working on materials planning and NPI data Ability to translate complex technical data into clear insights Strong communication skills and confidence presenting data to leadership Comfortable creating structure and standards where processes are not yet mature Manufacturing, engineering, operations, or supply chain background Experience with CAPEX tracking or materials planning Experience using Power Automate, SharePoint Lists, or Dataverse Experience with legacy financial tools (ex: GE EP&E)
