**Title:** **Data Analyst** **Industry:** **Financial** **Type:** **Contract (24 months)** **Location:** **Hybrid 3 days/week in one of the following locations:** **-- Charlotte, NC** **-- Phoenix, AZ** **-- Chandler, AZ** **-- Dallas, TX** **-- Chicago, IL** **Roles and responsibilities** + Identify and document where key business data lives across databases, APIs and data warehouses + Perform data mapping from source systems to target models for ETL, APIs, reporting etc.) + Collaborate with engineering to define and maintain data contracts for APIs, ETL pipelines, integrations, (e.g. field types, required fields, validation rules etc.) + Write and maintain field level documentation and data dictionaries for core datasets + Run complex SQL, or queries against SQL, Document DB etc. to validate the sources and that transformed data meet business requirements + Proactively test data quality issues (missing data, inconsistencies, duplicates) and communicate findings + Translate business requirements and data findings into clear user stories and technical requirements for engineering team + Partner with Product, analytics, and engineering teams to ensure trustworthy and scalable data pipelines + Monitor schema changes and ensure data lineage and transformations are version controlled and well understood + Help enforce data governance standards and promote consistent data definitions **Skill** + Strong SQL skills and experience querying large data sets across multiple systems + Experience working on ETL + Understanding of REST APIs, API documentation, and data integration patterns (ETL, ELT, Batch, CDC, Streaming/Real-Time, API, event driven etc) + Experience with data visualization tools example Tableau, Power BI etc. + Comfortable working with Git, Jira or tools for versioning and backlog tracking + Excellent communication skills especially in translating technical work into business value + Experience with meta data management (plus) **Qualifications** + 3-5 years experience in data analytics, data engineering + 5-7 years experience in banking or financial institution + Bachelor's in CS, DS, IS or related field/related experience + Experience collaborating across business, Data science, product and engineering teams ManpowerGroup is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in a professional, high quality work environment.
