Growing together.** **Primary Responsibilities:** + Data Engineering and Pipeline Development + Design and operate an Azure + Databricks Lakehouse using bronze or silver or gold architecture, governed by Unity Catalog and Purview + Build batch and streaming data pipelines (ADF, Structured Streaming) with automated data‑quality checks, CI/CD, observability, and version control + Data Modeling and BI Enablement + Develop curated datasets, semantic models, and dimensional models aligned to business needs + Implement RLS or OLS and deployment pipelines to support enterprise‑scale reporting in Power BI + Database Management + Manage PostgreSQL schemas, performance tuning, indexing, and replication strategies + Implement CDC pipelines from PostgreSQL to Lakehouse or Synapse + Data Quality, Governance and Security + Establish data SLAs and perform automated checks (accuracy, completeness, timeliness) + Enforce enterprise security baselines: Managed Identities, Private Endpoints, Key Vault, least‑privilege access + Maintain governance compliance via Unity Catalog or Purview with ≥95% metadata completeness + Operations, Observability and Cost Optimization + Monitor and optimize costs across clusters, pipelines, and storage tiers + Drive observability through alerts, logging, lineage tracking, SLOs, and incident management + Implement cluster policies, autoscaling, storage lifecycle tiering, and reserved capacity when beneficial + Collaboration and Documentation + Work with product owners and data stewards to standardize business metrics + Document datasets, transformations, lineage, and maintain certified datasets + Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment).
