Job Summary:
A warm and welcoming family – who have a 6 year old, 3 year old and 2 month old – in South Kensington (SW7) are seeking an experienced Daily Nanny to join their household. Their current nanny is leaving to pursue part time studies, and the family are now looking for someone reliable, calm, and proactive who can support Mum with childcare and light housework. The two older children are in school and nursery in the mornings.
From Autumn, when Mum returns to work part time (9am to 2pm), the role will focus on the youngest in the mornings and from the afternoon her older siblings.
The family employ a cleaner who does deep cleaning.
Job specification:
Tidying up the children areas (playroom and bedroom) and keeping them neat and tidy during the day and before leaving Cleaning and tidying the kitchen after use and leaving it clean at the end of the day Doing the laundry and ironing for the children School/nursery drop off and pick up for one or both children (via public transport or taxi) Taking the children to after school activities Playing, engaging, taking the children to playgrounds, museum, activities Preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner for the children and mum Starting in Autumn – taking the baby to the playground, preparing baby’s meals, put down for naps.
Candidate specification:
Previous experience in a similar role with similar aged children Experience with multiple children Calm, confident, kind, and discreet Positive energy Fluent English Excellent communication skills Confident working alongside Mum as part of a team Engaging with children of all ages Proven longevity with previous families preferred Non smoker
Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
