A lovely nanny position has arisen with a family based in Surrey to care for their two children who are aged 2 and 8 months old. The parents are seeking an experienced nanny who can confidently support their development during this important stage. The ideal candidate will be proactive, nurturing and happy to plan age-appropriate activities and outings.
The oldest child is at nursery during the week, so during this time it will mainly be focused on the youngest. Flexibility and experience with both infants and toddlers is important to them, as well as someone who will feel like an extension of their family.
Job specification:
Undertaking all daily sole charge nanny duties Following the daily routine/schedule Nursery pick-ups and drop-offs Planning/preparing learning and development activities to support the different milestones Attending groups, activities and playdates Exploring outside, going for walks and to the park Preparing healthy meals/snacks for the children Undertaking nursery duties – laundry for the children, keeping on top of toys, play areas and bedrooms Open to occasional proxy parenting and travelling with the family once or twice a year
Working days and Hours:
Option 1:
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday
Hours: Starting between 7:30am and 9am until 7pm (weekdays) 10am to 7pm (Saturday)
Salary: £45,864 to £60,060 gross per annum (depending on working hours/hourly rate)
Option 2:
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday
Hours: Starting between 7:30am and 9am until 7pm (weekdays) 9am to 7pm (Sunday)
Salary: £46,800 to £61,152 gross per annum (depending on working hours/hourly rate)
Option 3:Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: Starting between 7:30am and 9am until 7pm
Salary: £46,800 to £62,790 gross per annum (depending on working hours/hourly rate)
Candidate specification:
A driver is preferred and the family are open to providing a car for work purposes They are looking for someone dependable, nurturing, and proactive, who can provide a safe and stimulating environment for their children Experience working with babies and toddlers is required
Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
