About the Role:
As a CBRE D&T Product Consultant, you will act as the "voice" of the customer, translating customer needs to the Agile team by properly codifying intent, sizing work efforts, prioritizing needs, and summarizing issues.
This job is part of the Product Management job function. They are responsible for the planning, design, and implementation of products and product extensions during all life cycle stages.
What You’ll Do:
+ Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
+ Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
+ Work closely with designers, engineers, and business professionals to create strategic product roadmaps.
+ Draw upon customer insights to drive the software product vision and direction; provide leadership in identifying and defining ongoing product features that align with business strategy.
+ Define software solutions that CBRE’s technical teams can deliver; represent the customer to the technical teams, answering questions about client expectations.
+ Use technical and product expertise to prioritize deliverables and manage backlog of requests; own the product backlog.
+ Facilitate discussions, user story development and refinement, and testing and validation; contribute to roadblocks resolution and decision making.
+ Provide regular updates; manage executive stakeholder communication and reporting.
+ Act as a single point of contact for ongoing support and services; prioritize needs, engage various technical teams, route requests to correct owners, and ensure support is provided to internal or external satisfaction.
+ Actively engage in Agile process, including daily scrum sessions, demos, and testing activities, and training and change management activities.
+ Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams
+ Manage changes to features and communication to ensure there is clear indication of what is required for each release.
+ Work within broad guidelines and policies.
+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
+ Assist the team in sizing and breaking down Epic into a manageable size to accommodate the release cadence; write user stories and cases.
+ Explain difficult or sensitive information.
+ Solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions.
What You’ll Need:
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
+ Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
