Job Summary: Under direct supervision the cytopathology preparatory technician skillfully performs all aspects of specimen processing for cytopathology evaluation. Performs correlation of all specimens with corresponding requisition, checking for completeness. Acquires additional information as necessary including pertinent patient history, demographic data and billing information. Minimum Qualifications: Must have a valid NYS license, through NYS Department of Education as a Clinical Laboratory Technician or HistoTechnician .
