We’re seeking a **QA Test Engineer** with both **manual and automation testing experience** for a **6+ month project** with our client in **Arlington, VA** . This is a **hybrid role** (1–2 days onsite per week), so **local candidates only** . **Key Requirements** : + Strong experience testing **web applications** + Proficiency with **Cypress (at least 2 years of experience), Postman, Selenium, and SQL** **Responsibilities** + Understand, write test cases, and plan Automation Test Scripts plus manual test strategies across core products and platforms. + Design and execute test cases for measurements and insights that enable great E2E experiences across the complex integrated systems. + Drive the quality for a product/feature, assess risks to and ensure shipping features with a high-quality bar. + Be creative in testing across multiple platforms and contribute ideas to improve quality. + Responsible for coordinating testing with business. + Identify key testing challenges / goals and develop initial Test Plan + Prioritize which test plans to execute for specific app releases and launches + Implement and evolve QA processes to get effective test signals and scale testing efforts across multiple product functions. + Work with large group of test team and share ideas and work cohesively with different business teams + Proficient at debugging, analyzing results, and producing detailed bug reports and work effectively with development team. + Evaluate QA results to determine if findings are bugs, enhancements, or other issues + Based on documented requirements or user stories manually verify the system meets the functional requirements specified. + Quickly gain a thorough understanding of a project requirement and objectives. + Perform regression Testing on software + Create data necessary to support specific tests + Responsible for end-to-end testing – UI, API, content, Backend systems + Provide estimations to facilitate planning and execution along with risk identification and mitigation planning specific to testing. **Tools/Experience Requirements:** + Experience in testing Web applications. + Experience in Automation Test Tools including Selenium, Postman and Cypress (at least 2 years of experience).
