Job Description
The Cylinder Technician will be responsible for the disassembly and evaluation of hydraulic cylinders. The role requires individuals who are mechanically inclined and physically capable of performing tasks involving lifting 50 lbs repetitively throughout the day.
ResponsibilitiesPerform a variety of duties to support the hydraulic shop.Test products before shipment.Disassemble cylinders, evaluate parts’ needs, assemble cylinders, and test.Gather parts for shipment after completion.Provide solutions to problems as they arise, such as broken or missing parts.Essential SkillsOrganizational skills1 year of experience in mechanical aptitudePhysical ability to lift 50 lbs repetitivelyAbility to read a tape measureAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh School diploma is preferredTrade school education is a plusExperience with hydraulics and cylindersWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
The work setting is a machine shop located in a converted car dealership showroom. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, jeans, and safety glasses.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Freedom, Pennsylvania.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
