**Job Title: Cycle Counter** **Job Description** Join our team at an industry-leading manufacturing plant specializing in automotive parts. Located in Suffield, CT, we operate a full-cycle manufacturing facility where we proudly serve the automotive, commercial, and industrial industries, providing high-quality parts to major automotive brands. **Responsibilities** + Pull the daily shipping schedules. + Process daily shipping activities for both international and domestic shipments. + Coordinate material to ensure on-time delivery. + Prepare paperwork for outside processing. + Prepare shipping documents and contact carriers. + Track shipments and manage paperwork for lost, damaged, or partial orders. + Receive daily truck shipments, including UPS, for both inventory and non-inventory items. + Verify stock received by piece count, weight, or length. + Conduct daily cycle counting and ensure inventory is located in proper locations. **Essential Skills** + Experience in inventory control and cycle counting. + Proficiency in using UPS/FedEx shipping systems. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to use computers and MRP systems. + Strong data entry skills. + Proficient math skills. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers immense room for growth and job stability, with a projected growth rate of 30% over the next year. The dress code is casual, allowing jeans and t-shirts. Upon becoming permanent, employees receive a company uniform. The facility operates on a 1st shift schedule. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Suffield, Connecticut. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
