Janicki Industries is an innovative, family-owned aerospace company located at the foot of the Cascades. We focus on engineering and manufacturing complex projects for companies in the aerospace, defense, and space industries. We are looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our growing team.
This position is located on-site in Sedro-Woolley, Washington.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Cybersecurity Analyst will play a key role in strengthening the organization’s cybersecurity posture by driving compliance with regulatory frameworks. Primary responsibilities will focus on governance, risk, and compliance activities, including maintaining security documentation, conducting assessments, and supporting audit readiness. The applicant will collaborate with IT and security teams to support operational monitoring and incident response, helping safeguard systems and data. Primary responsibilites focus on compliance and evidence readiness; the role also provides operational security support as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Due to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3). This position may require the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed. Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree required; Bachelor’s degree strongly desired Minimum of 2 years of experience in information technology, cybersecurity operations, or governance, risk, and compliance Working knowledge of NIST SP 800-171 and related DoD cybersecurity requirements, including DFARS 252.204-7012 and CMMC Experience with SIEM, vulnerability management, and endpoint protection platforms Strong understanding of access control, incident response, and system hardening Maintain an active DoD 8570 security certification, such as the Security+. Additional industry certifications strongly desired Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Must be willing to participate in week-long on-call rotation Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language Must be willing and able to obtain a government issued security clearanceADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Salary range for this role is between $83,000 - $100,000, plus discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts. The range provided is Janicki’s estimate of the base compensation for this role.
