Perform as a consultant in highly specialized, leading edge information technologies and methodologiesPerform hardware and software installation, configuration, and maintenanceComply with cyber requirements, which may include routine system checks for antivirus, logging, and network system servicesRecommend and implement approved system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration managementSolve complex problems across disciplines in an Agile, Networking, and Software environmentOpportunity to travel for system installations, test support, and customer demosQualifications:
Basic Qualifications for Cyber Systems Engineer:
Bachelors Degree in Cybersecurity, Software, or related STEM degree field with 2 years of relevant work experience; or 0 years’ experience with a Master's (MS) degree Knowledge of Juniper networks and JavaScriptExperience with AnsibleUnderstanding of environmental monitoring tools (HBSS/Solar Winds/Splunk)Must be US Citizen Clearance: The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance is required
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft Server, Windows domain architectures, Windows Active Directory, LDAP, VMWare, and knowledge of SAN storage systemsRed Hat Operating System experience and/or certification for current versionsKnowledge of Python and PowerShell scripting.Experience with creation and deployment of system images in an enterprise evironmentDoD 8570 Level 2 Certification, such as Security+ CE Primary Level Salary Range: $101,000.00 - $151,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
