Job Responsibilities:

 

Assist in the deployment and configuration of cybersecurity tools, including SIEM, DLP, and endpoint protection platforms. Support onboarding of basic log sources into SIEM platforms and validate data ingestion. Perform initial analysis and tuning of IDS/IPS alerts and firewall rules under guidance. Collaborate with network and infrastructure teams to apply secure configurations to network devices. Monitor network traffic and assist in identifying anomalies or potential threats. Maintain documentation for tool configurations and standard operating procedures. Participate in incident response activities and contribute to root cause analysis. Learn and apply security best practices, compliance standards, and organizational policies. Engage in continuous learning and development through mentorship and training.

 

**Remote Work: Crown offers hybrid remote work for this position. A reasonable commute is necessary as some onsite work is required.

 

Job Qualifications:

 

Candidate should be pursuing a 2 or 4 year degree program studying cyber security, computer science or equivalent Candidate must reside within a 2 hour commuting distance of New Bremen, OH. Excellent written and oral communication, deductive reasoning, and analytical trouble shooting skills. Strong Interpersonal skills Own means of reliable transportation
