**Position: Warehouse Associate** **Pay Rate:** $16.50/hour **Shift:** 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (including weekends) **Location:** Houston Texas 77073 **Role Overview:** As a Warehouse Associate, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring freight is processed efficiently and accurately. You’ll work closely with a high-performing management team that understands the logistics and transportation industry. **Key Responsibilities:** + Assist with shipping and receiving, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and matching purchase orders to sales orders. + Distribute orders to sales associates for processing. + Read and interpret customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions. + Maintain a clean, safe, and accessible warehouse environment. + Follow all safety policies and procedures. + Assemble products and participate in inventory counts. + Take check calls from drivers and validate load data for accounting. + Monitor daily pickups and deliveries, ensuring timely and intact arrivals. **Qualifications:** + Basic written and verbal communication skills. + Basic computer proficiency. + Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends. + Previous dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry is a plus. + Experience with loading/unloading trailers and using handheld scanners. + Ability to follow instructions in written, verbal, or diagram form. **Physical Requirements:** + Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 75 pounds. + Ability to load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
