**Job Title: Certified Welding Inspector**
**Responsibilities**
+ Interpret and evaluate inspection results for welding fit-up and filler metal placement.
+ Set up and calibrate all testing equipment.
+ Use visual inspection techniques such as VT, UT, and MT to perform non-destructive tests.
+ Identify errors or defects in products.
+ Oversee welder qualification tests and evaluate welder performance.
+ Perform visual weld inspections and nondestructive inspections for acceptance or rejection in accordance with applicable codes, procedures, or instructions.
**Essential Skills**
+ Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification.
+ Experience with welding inspection and non-destructive testing (NDT).
+ Ability to perform visual weld inspections.
+ Knowledgeable in quality inspection and blueprint reading.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Minimum education of a high school diploma or GED required.
+ Current certification in MT, UT in accordance with ASNT-TC-1A is a plus, with training provided to obtain certification.
+ Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

**Work Environment**
+ Non-climate controlled manufacturing site
+ One 1st shift Opening- Mon-Friday 6am-4:30mp
+ One 2nd shift Opening- Monday- Friday 4:30pm-2L30am with $2.50 shift differential
+ Both 1st and 2nd shift openings will require rotating OT on Saturdays for short term

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
