**Job Title: Certified Welding Inspector** **Responsibilities** + Interpret and evaluate inspection results for welding fit-up and filler metal placement. + Set up and calibrate all testing equipment. + Use visual inspection techniques such as VT, UT, and MT to perform non-destructive tests. + Identify errors or defects in products. + Oversee welder qualification tests and evaluate welder performance. + Perform visual weld inspections and nondestructive inspections for acceptance or rejection in accordance with applicable codes, procedures, or instructions. **Essential Skills** + Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification. + Experience with welding inspection and non-destructive testing (NDT). + Ability to perform visual weld inspections. + Knowledgeable in quality inspection and blueprint reading. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Minimum education of a high school diploma or GED required. + Current certification in MT, UT in accordance with ASNT-TC-1A is a plus, with training provided to obtain certification. + Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy competitive pay and opportunities for professional growth in a supportive environment.
