Job Description
Join our team as a CWB Welder, where you will focus on the fabrication of steel structural skids designed to support processing units. You will predominantly engage in flat welding using metalcore and fluxcore techniques, with a small percentage of tasks involving horizontal welding and additional duties. Your work will involve welding clamps and units, fabricating from raw steel, and assembling and painting units in-house before they are disassembled and shipped for reassembly at client sites.
Responsibilities
Perform welding of steel structural skids using metalcore and fluxcore practices.Weld clamps and units as part of the assembly process.Fabricate skids, vessels, and piping from raw steel.Assemble and paint units in-house prior to disassembly for shipment.Ensure quality and precision in all welding tasks, adhering to blueprints and P&ID specifications.Essential Skills
Proficient in FCAW, MCAW, and CWB welding techniques.Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural welding.Experience working with structural steel.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and P&ID documents.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing facility specializing in Gas Processing and Power Generation Units. You will work 10-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday, with flexible day and night shifts available. The day shift runs from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM with an unpaid half-hour lunch, while the night shift runs from 5:00 PM to 3:00 AM with a paid half-hour lunch. The facility is loud due to welding activities, and you'll work with cranes to manage skids in various positions. Overtime compensation is provided at time and a half after 40 hours and double time after 56 hours.
