**Aerospace Composite Manufacturing Company is NOW HIRING: Cutting Technicians and Finishers** **1st and 2nd Shifts - $18 - $20/hr** **Job Description** The Cutting Technician is responsible for marking, reproducing, and assembling material kits. This role requires proficiency in Patternsmith and the Gerber Machine, similar to using a Cricket machine but in a large industrial setting. Duties include loading carbon fiber material onto machines, programming through a computer, and trimming excessive material. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented and able to lift up to 40 pounds. **Responsibilities** + Cloth laminating and bagging/consolidation. + Sharpen cutting tools to ensure optimal performance. + Operate cutting and grinding equipment. + Trim extra material from workpieces to meet specifications. + Respond to changing priorities and work hard to meet customer demand. + Produce quality products with minimal waste of material. + Participate in internal training as needed. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + 1-2 years of related experience. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Strong attention to detail while producing accurate, high-quality work. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vista, CA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
