**Job Description:**
**Summary**
The Customs Compliance Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our companys supply chain network. This position is responsible for supporting daily Customs compliance operations, with a special focus on US and Canadian imports and exports, duty accruals and payments, and exceptional recordkeeping. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational and analytical skills, accuracy in recording information, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to proactively monitor Customs compliance-related challenges as they arise, ensuring seamless operations across the supply chain. Being able to quickly adjust to dynamic Customs compliance requirements is strongly desired.
**Qualifications**
+ Background in Customs Compliance, supply chain management, logistics, international trade, or a related field is preferred.
+ Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, import/export operations, or a similar role within a fast-paced corporate environment.
+ Understanding of customs regulations, and compliance requirements for both US and Canadian markets.
+ Experience with Brokers’, US and Canadian Customs portals (ACE, CARM, FedEx, UPS) and technical aptitude for digital recordkeeping and reporting systems.
+ Exceptional organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
+ Proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving, with effective communication skills for coordination with global teams, brokers, and vendors.
+ Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of logistical data management and compliance. Competencies

+ Strong analytical thinking and initiative to identify process improvements.
+ Customer-focused mindset and dedication to providing high-quality operations support.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative international team. Working Conditions
+ This position is based in an office environment with some flexibility for remote work as operations permit.
+ May require ancillary responsibilities or adjustments to working hours to assist manager and support cross-border shipments and urgent Compliance matters.
+ Interaction with brokers, warehousing or carriers’ staff may be required for project work.
