Customs Brokerage Agent Assistant Supervisor

Job Description

· Allocate workloads within team to ensure smooth operations during peak activity or staff absence.

· Monitor compliance at all times to regulations. This includes internal policies and procedures such as Operational Process Standards

(OPS) and external government regulations or customer policies/requirements.

· Monitor duty deferment usage and levels.

· Promote productivity tools (e.g., using edoc, customs database, process management, customs system, PSM, Customer Profiles,

Vector)

· Ensure all new business is transitioned correctly.

· Maintain a positive relationship with the Trade Compliance Manager and support all compliance efforts and trainings.

· Promote productivity tools (e.g., using edoc, process management, customsware usage/Expo customs.

· Audit of files in accordance to AEO

· Follow up refunds with customs authorities.

· Send client report requests through the available database (expo request, expo reporting)

· Provide content for customer reviews – duty/vat,

· Be open to implementing new system changes and enhancements into your department.

· Participate to staff appraisals, and at a minimum once per year per employee.

· Ensure that the new hires complete company’s mandatory training within the first 6 months.
