Customer Support Specialist

Job Description:

The Order Fulfillment Associate or (Customer Support Specialist I) is responsible for processing orders using our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, managing the order through the fulfillment process using a ticketing system and providing customers with the highest level of service possible.

Day to day: Process purchase orders in the ERP system, accuracy and attention to detail are key. Review PO's against quotes, resolve customer PO issues that may arise.

Essential Functions:

•\tUse company CRM system to manage work queue and verify customer product certifications

•\tReview purchase orders against quotes to verify pricing before booking into the ERP system

•\tWork with sales team to obtain approval on drop-ship orders and to verify discounts listed on purchase orders are valid

•\tUtilize company ERP system to process purchase orders accurately and efficiently before processing purchase orders

•\tRespond to customer inquiries and provide speedy and thorough resolution to customer issues to ensure customer satisfaction

•\tHandle day-to-day correspondence via email & phone (approx.10 calls a day max) the majority of communication will be via email correspondence.

•\tAnswer customer inquiries via phone and email regarding lead time, the status of purchase orders, back-ordered materials, etc.

•\tWork with customers to resolve pricing issues on PO’s as they occur

Secondary Functions:

•\tWork with sales operations team to prioritize orders as needed when inventory is limited

•\tBuild rapport with new and repeat customers by providing exceptional customer service through email and phone interactions.

•\tReview and execute change orders/correction requests

•\tOther duties as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess the following combination of experience, knowledge and skills:

•\tHigh School Diploma/GED plus at least 6 months relevant experience

•\tExcellent written and verbal communication skill

•\tAbility to collaborate with a diverse cross-functional team spread throughout the country

•\tKnowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)

•\tAbility to prioritize, manage multiple tasks and meet daily deadlines

•\tEmbrace continuous improvement philosophy

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.50/hr.
