Description

As the face of our customer, here’s what you will do:

Whether our customers are traveling for business or pleasure, you are the professional in the airport that crafts important connections and encourages an environment where everyone feels welcome, valued, and respected. You will be interacting with our domestic and international customers in our lobbies and at gates, helping them with ticketing, baggage, greeting customers as they start and end their journey and doing it with a smile. You will provide friendly, professional, confident, and insightful service to help resolve customer travel issues and make their experience memorable.

What are your responsibilities:Staffing the ticket counter, boarding gates and baggage service areas of the airport (Duties may include check-in, ticketing, gates, baggage service and operations)Providing assistance and excellent customer service to the traveling public by performing various customer service duties in the airport terminal such as:Receiving and directing incoming calls, greeting and directing customers, tagging and handling baggagePreparing tickets, determining fares and routing to assure passenger's travel needs are metMaintaining a neat and professional appearance by adhering to United's standards for uniform and dress

This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.

QualificationsMinimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED or equivalent school leaving certificate requiredMust be able to work the ticket counter as well as the boarding gates and baggage service areaMust have a professional appearanceMust have excellent communication skillsMust be able to work in a fast-paced environmentMust be able to lift and maneuver heavy baggageMust be able to stand and walk throughout the entire work shiftMust possess excellent customer service skillsComputer fluency, Word, excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams and OutlookProven customer service work experience requiredMust be at least 18 years of ageMust be able to travel to US for training if requiredMust be flexible to work ANY shift that is assigned to you within a 24 hour, 7 day a week operation which can include late nights, early hours, weekends and holidayMust be fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken)Must be legally authorized to work in Spain for any employer without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationsReliable, punctual attendance is essential function of the positionPreferred QualificationsPrevious airline, travel, or hospitality work experience preferred
