Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and proactive Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role involves processing and confirming orders, generating quotes, and maintaining up-to-date price lists to ensure the protection and maintenance of gross profit margins. The successful candidate will also resolve customer issues promptly and elevate concerns to ensure satisfactory resolutions. Monitoring customer orders and inventory levels is crucial to deliver products in full, on time, and according to specifications.
Responsibilities
Process and confirm orders on the day they are received.Generate standard quotes within 24-48 hours of receipt.Answer phones by the 3rd ring and respond to emails by the end of each day.Maintain and update price lists to protect and maintain GP margins.Build accurate specifications and inventory items within 24-48 hours.Resolve customer problems and escalate issues promptly.Monitor customer min/max, open orders, back orders, and inventory levels.Serve as a liaison with sales, purchasing, design, manufacturing, and shipping.Prepare proposals and miscellaneous correspondence.Facilitate new item setup including tap offs and proof approval.Maintain thorough customer records and resolve slow payment issues.Assist with slow-moving inventory and expedite material based on customer needs.Essential Skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.Demonstrated initiative in personal professional development.Basic arithmetic including gross profit calculations.Attention to detail and accuracy.Effective communication skills in writing, verbally over the phone, and in person.Regular and punctual attendance.Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School diploma or GED.Bilingual - English/Spanish.Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Experience in a customer service role preferred.Experience in an inside sales role.Why Work Here?

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
