Customer Service Representative
Job Title: Customer Service Representative 3Job Description The role of a Customer Service Representative 3 is to interact with customers by providing information in response to inquiries about products and services, while also addressing and resolving complaints. The position involves determining customer issues, offering potential solutions, and providing necessary follow-up. Customer service agents may handle both inbound and outbound interactions. Responsibilities + Resolve customer service or billing complaints by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money, and adjusting bills. + Contact customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results and any planned adjustments. + Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation. + Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments as well as actions taken. + Obtain and examine all relevant information to assess the validity of complaints and determine possible causes. + Solicit the sale of new or additional services or products. Essential Skills + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Attention to detail and excellent customer service skills. + Effective interpersonal skills. + Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. + Capability to accurately document and record customer/client information. + Proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma or GED required. + 5-7 years of customer service-related experience. + Experience in service, data entry, customer support, inbound call handling, insurance, insurance claims, property and casualty, claim processing, appeals, and insurance billing. + Team-oriented mindset. + Quick learning abilities. + Problem-solving skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. + Experience with email communication. Work Environment This position is full-time, on-site as of May 2026. Currently, the work schedule includes 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. Working hours are either 7 AM to 4 PM or 8 AM to 5 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Nashville, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
