Sustainability-Driven Culture** Be part of an organization committed to a better planet through innovation, service quality, and responsible operations. **Thrive at work and at home** + Inclusive Wellbeing Program with resources supporting physical, social, emotional, and financial wellness. + Learning and development solutions, including higher education and certification reimbursement. + A strong sense of belonging through Employee Resource Groups. + 8 hours of paid volunteer time annually for nonprofit causes. + Trane Technologies Helping Hands Fund to support employees facing unexpected financial hardship. **Where is the work** **Onsite:** This position is designated as On-site, based in **Ahmedabad** . **What will you do** In this role you will: + Act as the customer’s primary representative and single point of contact for all customer-specific matters. + Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and apply structured account management to identify key customers and develop actions to grow these accounts. + Identify customer needs and collaborate with the Technical Support Team to propose suitable service solutions and options. + Identify new business opportunities with existing and prospective customers, including Service Agreements and Value-Added Services such as Trane Care Service and Chiller Renewal. + Prepare proposals, quotations, and commercial terms using standard Trane templates; present proposals to customers. + Build and maintain long-lasting customer relationships by providing continuous support and assistance. + Investigate and resolve customer complaints by collaborating with internal stakeholders, evaluating solutions, and recommending outcomes. + Organize regular Service Reviews with customers and Operations teams to discuss critical jobs and service issues. + Understand vertical market needs and determine pricing and selling strategies accordingly. + Provide marketplace insights such as competitor information, industry trends, and customer expectations. + Organize customer events and contribute to regular communication and engagement initiatives. **What you will bring** + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with at least **5+ years of relevant owner-direct sales or service sales experience** . + Knowledge of HVAC Systems, Chiller Plants, Airside Systems, Energy Services, and Building Services is an added advantage. + Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineering documents. + Strong customer responsiveness, including handling sensitive inquiries or complaints effectively. + Strong presentation skills for engagement with customers and internal teams. + Analytical skills to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. + Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form. + Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills. + Willingness to continually learn, upskill, and adopt new service offerings. + **Consultative selling approach** —Ability to understand customer goals and recommend impactful solutions. + **Technical and product knowledge** —Confidence in HVAC and service solutions with clear articulation of customer benefits. + **Negotiation and closing skills** —Skilled in objection handling and building win-win solutions. + **Business development mindset** —Proactively identify new opportunities and expand Trane’s service footprint. + **Presentation and persuasion skills** —Deliver compelling proposals and service solution presentations. + **Resilience and goal orientation** —Ability to thrive in a competitive environment and achieve business targets. **Career Break** We encourage applicants who have taken a career break of **12 months or more** .
