Customer Service Associates play a pivotal role in creating lasting impressions on all customers entering and leaving our store. They cultivate a positive and vibrant atmosphere throughout the store while assisting customers with inquiries, resolving concerns, and offering guidance on products and services. This position requires a blend of customer service expertise, sales acumen, and a solid understanding of audio-related technologies.
Responsibilities:
Welcome and assist customers across all store areas, providing basic information and seamlessly transitioning customers to sales representatives. Process various transactions accurately, including customer returns/exchanges, cash/credit card/check payments, Printique photograph shipments, process rental equipment pick-up/drop off, used item requests, buy online pick-up in store orders, and Pro Service orders. Manage incoming calls and emails from the off-site customer service team, addressing inquiries directly, routing calls to specialized sales team members, and maintaining consistent communication via voicemail and email. Follow up on paid orders awaiting pickup, coordinating with customers for pickup arrangements, cancellations, or refunds as needed.
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in customer service and sales roles, demonstrating a strong customer-centric approach. Engaging, dynamic, and friendly demeanor that resonates with customers. Proficient in cash handling procedures with a keen attention to detail. Exceptional communication, listening, and motivational skills essential for fostering positive customer interactions. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently or collaboratively within a team. Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and occasional Sundays and closing shifts.
