The Customer Order Specialist is responsible for conducting system training sessions, preparing customer quotes, and processing non-stock and emergency orders. This role involves monitoring order status, performing sourcing activities, resolving accounts payable and receivable issues, and ensuring expedited material processing to respond to customer inquiries promptly. Additionally, the specialist will track orders, manage SMAA forms, and fulfill SQAD requirements.
ResponsibilitiesConduct ongoing system training sessions with the team.Prepare and provide customer quotes.Process non-stock orders within 48 hours and handle all emergency orders, including processing spot buy purchase orders to vendors.Monitor and update order status, ensuring past due orders and two-week look-ahead dates are completed daily.Perform daily sourcing activities.Communicate upcoming projects to the team.Resolve accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) issues.Request and process order revisions.Review open orders regularly.Expedite material, ensuring the team responds to customer inquiries within 45 minutes.Work on OSD&D reports.Track orders and maintain accurate records.Complete and manage SMAA forms, providing alternate materials for discontinued items.Fulfill SQAD requirements by obtaining necessary documents from customers for specific applications.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
